Bread Pudding
Ingredients:
- 10 slices of bread, white or brown
- 1 litre, milk, full/half or low fat
- 2 eggs
- 5 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavour
- 1⁄4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 pinch, cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp. butter
Method:
Cut the bread slices into small cubes and soak in 3⁄4 liter milk mixed with sugar. Add the eggs and mix with a egg beater. Add the vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon powder and butter. Mix well and pour onto a greased pan. Steam for 25 to 30 minutes.
